Freelance Writer & Editor

About Me

With more than two decades under my belt as a communications consultant, writer, and editor, as well as a published author of two thrillers and a children's book, I still get jazzed over every new writing or editing project. I love the challenge of taking a complex assignment or subject and distilling it into an easy-to-understand piece, whether that's a white paper, report, editorial, or magazine article. I'm a whiz-bang researcher, too; I love to learn new things. My past work primarily has been in the academic, legislative, and nonprofit arenas, producing a wide range of documents for purposes of marketing, advocacy, or greater public awareness. Though my interests are many and varied, I'm particularly enthused about writing and editing opportunities that pertain to lifestyle for baby boomers (thriving and aging adventurously), personal development, entrepreneurship/small business development, science/medical discoveries, and travel.
