About Me

I am an online marketing consultant, editor, writer, and author with more than 20 years of experience in the digital marketing space.

Prior to resuming my work with Bizzuka (I worked there from 2007 - 2010 as the online marketing director), I served as staff writer for Small Business Trends and editor of Web Marketing Today, the oldest marketing resource of its kind on the Internet.

Before that, I was principal of Chaney Marketing Group, a boutique agency that provided outsourced online marketing services for small to medium-sized B2B companies.

I hold the distinction of leading the very first business blogging seminar to be held in Asia. And in 2011, I introduced social media marketing to business owners in Ukraine, at the behest of the U.S. Department of Commerce.

I have authored or co-authored four books on business blogging, social media marketing, and social commerce, the most notable of which is entitled "The Digital Handshake: Seven Proven Strategies to Grow Your Business Using Social Media," published by John Wiley and Sons, in 2009.
