Take the train to Roanoke Virginia

Train service is coming back this fall to Roanoke Virginia. That makes this mountain town the perfect getaway for people in the North East Corridor who want an escape that doesn't require a flight or a long drive. It's a perfect match for the home of the Virginia Museum of Transportation or you can visit a museum dedicated to pinball machines. And there are great nearby hikes as well including majestic McAffee Knob.
