About Me

After years in retail, I've taken the leap into writing full time. I have a BS in Psychology from Nevada State College, and I love writing about all things mental health. I have a natural aptitude for research and a thirst for knowledge on every subject. My passions include women's studies, LGBTQIA+ issues, and self-care, but I'm willing to write whatever you can throw at me.

Love and Schizophrenia

There's a lot of misinformation about schizophrenia, and a lot of stigma attached to the disorder. In this post, I'd like to dispel the notion that all people with schizophrenia are dangerous or incapable of living a normal life. My fiance has it, and I'd like to discuss how he manages it without medication. In addition to that, I'd like to discuss what it's like to love someone with this disorder and what our day to day looks like.
