She was a 2016 recipient of an SIAP award from the Arts Council NI. Lesley's interests are in the arts and education. Her MA dissertation was on social inclusion within the literary sector in Belfast.

I was the main clerical contact for all PhD students from enrolment to graduation. Set up a training schedule and organised all training for PhD and Early Career Researchers. I was also the initial contact for postgraduate research admission and award applications. Within this, I worked with the students, potential supervisors, selectors, Postgraduate Admissions and the International Office to ensure that these applications are processed.
